- Recuperative care

- Support for those with developmental & intellectual differences

Services are customized based on individual client needs and availability of qualified caregivers.
3. Eligibility and Assessment
Free Assessment
- The free assessment is provided to determine your care needs and is non-binding
- Assessment availability is subject to our service area (Portland and Southern Maine)
- We reserve the right to decline service if we determine we cannot adequately meet your needs
Client Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a service agreement
- You must provide accurate and complete information during assessment and registration
- You are responsible for informing us of any changes to care needs or medical conditions
4. Service Agreement and Payment
- Specific services, rates, and payment terms will be outlined in a separate Service Agreement
- Payment is due according to the terms specified in your Service Agreement
- We offer flexible payment options as discussed during consultation
- Services may be suspended or terminated for non-payment
5. Caregiver Qualifications
All Home Helpers caregivers are:
- Carefully screened and background-checked
- Trained and experienced in providing quality care
- Licensed and insured as required by Maine state law
- Supervised and supported by our management team
6. Scheduling and Cancellations
- Services are scheduled based on availability and client needs
- We require [insert hours, e.g., 24 hours] notice for cancellations or rescheduling
- Late cancellations may be subject to fees as outlined in your Service Agreement
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide substitute caregivers in case of emergencies
7. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:

- Provide accurate medical and care information
- Notify us immediately of any incidents, injuries, or concerns
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
8. Limitation of Liability
- Home Helpers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- We are not responsible for outcomes beyond our reasonable control
- We do not guarantee specific health outcomes or improvements
9. Medical Disclaimer
- Home Helpers provides non-medical home care services
- Our caregivers are not medical professionals unless specifically licensed
- We do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice
- Clients should consult with licensed healthcare providers for medical decisions
- Medical care services are provided by licensed professionals in accordance with state regulations

- We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
- Client information is only shared as necessary to provide services or as required by law

We may terminate these Terms and Conditions or your access to our website or Services at any time, for any reason, without notice.
